Kids with Epilepsy ... “Thanks to you and many others just like you, we raised over $8K for ‘Kids with Epilepsy’ at the Ragin Cajun last Saturday. It’s Not so much the money, but the community awareness that’s important. It is our goal to educate folks about epilepsy and it’s toll on over 3 million people in the U.S.A.”

Child Advocates of Fort Bend ... “Thank you for giving your heart to the children. With your assistance, Child Advocates of Fort Bend and WB39 Cares for Kids Fund, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation, successfully presented the 13th Annual CASA Christmas Home Tour. We cannot do this work without you. With help from more than 1000 volunteers who step forward each year, Child Advocates of Fort Bend and WB39 Cares for Kids Fund are able to help abused children in this community . We all work towards the belief that every child deserves a safe and permanent home."

Young Life ... “Thank you, for your support of Fort Bend Young Life. As you know, Young Life is a non-profit organization the mentors teenagers through the difficult journey of adolescence, and offers guidance in the tough situations they may face in their young lives. The organization was founded in Texas in 1941 and has been in Fort Bend County for twelve years., Volunteer leaders from young Life build mentor relationships with middle school and high school-aged kids. Many lives are turned around as a result of Young Life.”

Second Mile Mission Center ... Thank you for helping make Second Mile’s 2nd Annual Dinner and Silent Auction a Great Success. With your support, the event raised more than $100,000 to help continue Second Mile’s outreach efforts and raise awareness with many who may have not have known about the services Second Mile provides in our community. The event could not have happened without your help - the silent auction was a tremendous success. Many commented on teh variety of items availavle as well as the overwhelming support of our community businesses - which were predominately displayed on our auction tbles and in hundreds of booklets.
